„Everyday Heroes“ is a feature length documentary about the power of life and resiliency. The documentary features five children who are willing to share with us their everyday life, their doubts and their joys. These children among all children have a particularity. Imad, Ambre, Charles, Tugdual and Camille have been diagnosed with serious pathologies, which make them both very mature and self-aware of the power of now. But above all, they remain children. Anne-Dauphine Julliand
ANNE-DAUPHINE JULLIAND wurde 1973 in Paris geboren und studierte Journalistik. Nach ihrem Studium schrieb sie für Tageszeitungen und Fachmagazine. 2006 wurde bei ihrem zweiten Kind im Alter von zwei Jahren ein degenerativer Gendefekt mit einer sehr niedrigen Lebenserwartung festgestellt. 2011 veröffentlichte sie „Two Small Footprints in Wet Sand“, in dem sie ihre Erfahrungen im Umgang mit der Krankheit und dem Tod ihrer Tochter verarbeitet. Das Buch wurde über 350.000 Mal in Frankreich verkauft und in über 20 Sprachen übersetzt. Mit „Et les mistrals gagnants“ gibt sie ihr Filmdebüt.
