When her best friend announces she is going to get married, Kathi regards being a bridesmaid as a matter of honour. The only problem is that she is single and badly needs a man to accompany her to the wedding celebrations. This heartwarming romantic comedy skillfully plays off the clichés and fantasies of modern relationships against each other and overflows with a genuine feel-good factor. Newcomer Anna Maria Sturm and cinema star Kostja Ullmann are enchanting in the two main roles.

Holger Haase
geboren 1975 in Hamm, studierte Gestaltungstechnik in Wuppertal und absolvierte anschließend die Ludwigsburger Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Sein erster abendfüllender Spielfilm, die Komödie „Das Leben der Philosophen“, hatte 2005 Premiere auf arte und wurde für den Grimme-Preis nominiert. Aktuell führt Haase Regie beim Film „Männertag“, der noch 2016 in die Kinos kommen soll.
