Eli is an Israeli swimming coach living in the United States. A phone call notifies him that his father passed away. Eli reluctantly travels to Tel Aviv for the first time in 10 years to deal with the estate. On his short trip he decides to visit his childhood friend, Yotam. OFIR RAUL GRAIZER (*1981 in Ra’anana/Israel) hat zunächst in der Mode- und Gastronomie-Branche gearbeitet, bevor er Film am Sapir College in Israel studierte. Sein Langfilmdebüt „The Cakemaker“ wurde auf zahlreichen Festivals gezeigt und gewann mehrere Preise. Zudem veröffentlichte er ein Buch „Ofirs Küche“ mit Kurzgeschichten und Rezepten beim Suhrkamp Verlag in Deutschland. Seit 2010 lebt er in Berlin, in der Uckermark und in Jerusalem.
