After her younger sister Johanna is diagnosed with bone cancer, actress Katharina Uhland takes up the film camera to help her deal with the inconceivable. The resulting film is an unusually intimate and moving insight into the story of an illness, and at the same time a loving portrait of the relationship between the two sisters. The film focuses on the young women’s will to live and the acknowledgement that such drastic shocks can also have a positive effect on life.

geboren 1982 in Darmstadt, studierte Schauspiel an der Otto-Falckenberg-Schule in München. Seit 2005 tritt sie am Theater und in Filmen auf. „Auf einer Skala von 1 bis 10“ ist ihre erste Regiearbeit. Bei ihrem nächsten Projekt „Ein halbes Leben“ arbeitet sie mit der renommierten Dokumentarfilmerin Tamara Trampe als dramaturgischer Beraterin.
