LUZIE KURTH (*1997 in Köln) wuchs in Deutschland und der Wallonie auf und ist als Regisseurin, Radiomacherin und Schauspielerin tätig. Sie absolvierte ein Studium der angewandten Menschenrechte an der Universität für angewandte Kunst in Wien sowie Theaterwissenschaft und Politikwissenschaft an der Freien Universität Berlin. Bereits 2004 spielte sie ihre erste Rolle in „Tausendmal berührt“ unter der Regie von Helmut Förnbacher. Seit 2006 arbeitet sie auch regelmäßig als Hörspielsprecherin, häufig in Produktionen für Kinder und Jugendliche. Mit dem Dokumentarfilm„Big Fish – Rumba Rwandaise“ gibt sie ihr Debüt als Regisseurin.
