Comedian Tommy Fawkes returns to his hometown of Blackpool in England following a disastrous gig in Las Vegas. In search of fresh inspiration, he meets the extraordinary clown Jack Parker. However, following a tragic incident, Jack and his family are no longer allowed to perform. When Tommy decides to learn more about their art anyway, he uncovers a secret that links his own past to that of the Parkers in an unexpected way. “Funny Bones” won the Bernhard Wicki Award at the International Film Festival Emden-Norderney in 1995.
