Beginning of June is that time of the year again: Emden and the island if Norderney lift their theatre curtains to excite film enthusiasts with the new programme of the International Filmfest Emden-Norderney. It will be the 27th edition the popular cultural event is taking place, this year from June 1st to 8th, 2016. Located on the very northwestern corner close to the North Sea, the International Filmfest Emden-Norderney is one of Germany’s most nationally acclaimed and internationally recognised film festivals. With more than 100 films on 7 screens it is a festival mainly for its audience. Over the years the IFF Emden|Norderney has become a well-adopted, heartwarming festival with an exceptionally good reputation among visitors and the industry.
