STEVE STONE hat über 20 Jahre Erfahrung als Digital Artist im Bereich Werbung und Computerspiele. 1997 gründete er die Firma Nexus DNA, die sich auf die Erstellung von digitalem ArtWork spezialisierte – zu den Kunden gehören u.a. Sony, General Electric und Nike. 2009 kam ihm die Idee zu seinem Debütfilm „Entity“, der 2013 in die Kinos kam. Der Horror-Thriller, bei dem er als Drehbuchautor, Produzent und Regisseur agierte, gewann Preise beim Independent Film Festival (LIFF) und beim British Horror Film Festival. „Deus“ ist sein dritter Spielfilm.
