MARIE-HÉLÈNE ROUX ist eine französische Regisseurin und Drehbuchautorin. Sie wurde in Gabun geboren, ist in mehreren afrikanischen Ländern sowie in Frankreich aufgewachsen. Ihre Ausbildung absolvierte sie am französischen Nationalkonservatorium und anschließend an der Stella Adler Academy of Acting in Los Angeles. 2014 gab sie mit „Shortage of Children | À court d‘enfants“ ihr Regiedebüt, das zahlreiche internationale Preise gewann und in das UNESCO-Programm aufgenommen wurde. Marie-Hélène Roux ist eines von dreißig Nachwuchstalenten, die vom renommierten Starlight Media-Programm ausgewählt wurden.
